Our accessibility commitment
Marca Mold S.r.l. is committed to making its website and its quoting service accessible in line with Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act), transposed in Italy by Legislative Decree no. 82 of 27 May 2022, and with the reference technical standard EN 301 549.
Compliance status
The site and the service are partially compliant with EN 301 549, because of the cases of non-compliance listed below. This statement is based on an internal technical self-assessment carried out on 9 September 2026 with the axe-core analysis engine on all twelve public pages, together with a check of the contrast ratios on the design system colours. No independent audit has been carried out yet by a third party, nor any test with users who use assistive technologies.
What is already in place
- keyboard navigation and a visible focus indicator on controls;
- text labels on controls and form fields, with an explicit association between label and field;
- alternative text on informative images;
- heading hierarchy and semantic structure of the pages;
- the state of an element is never left to colour alone: the word is always there too;
- text contrast meeting level AA on the main surfaces;
- the service sets no time limit for completing an operation;
- respect for the system preference for reduced motion;
- a skip link to the content working on every page, and content enclosed in an identifiable main area, so that menu and header can be jumped over;
- contrast ratios checked on the design system colours: main text reaches 18.7:1, secondary text 5.0:1 and highlighted controls 7.0:1, all above the AA threshold of 4.5:1.
Non-accessible content
The following limitations are known, and we are working on them:
- Three-dimensional preview of models. The interactive view is visual by nature and today has no complete textual equivalent. The essential information about the part – bounding dimensions, volume, wall thickness warnings – is in any case available as text next to the preview.
- Inherited editorial pages. Some information pages come from an earlier build and have not yet been fully revised for heading structure and reading order.
- Heading order. On seven information pages the heading hierarchy skips a level (it goes straight from the main heading to the third level). The structure is still readable but it is not regular, and fixing it means reworking the original page layout.
- Independent audit. No conformity audit by a third party has been carried out yet, nor any test with people who use assistive technologies. Automated tools catch about one third of the possible barriers: what is declared here is to be read as work in progress, not as verified conformity.
Feedback mechanism
Anyone who meets an obstacle in using the site or the service can report it by writing to [email protected] or calling +39 0331 406311, stating the page and the difficulty encountered. We reply within thirty days and, where possible, we provide the service by another route in the meantime – for example by preparing the quotation by e-mail.
Enforcement procedure
If the reply is unsatisfactory or no reply is received, the data subject may turn to the national supervisory authority competent under Legislative Decree 82/2022.
