A 3D model is the heart of a project. Yours stays with us: servers at our own site, software we wrote ourselves, no external tools. Here we tell you exactly where the file goes, who sees it, how long it stays and how to delete it.
The website, the quoting tool and the files are on Marca servers at our site in Nerviano. No third-party cloud.
We developed the quoting tool, the geometry analyses and the 3D viewer ourselves: your model never passes through an external tool.
The file never leaves the Marca Group: no other customers, no suppliers. Everyone who works at Marca is bound to confidentiality by contract.
From your area, in one click: the file is removed from our disks.
If your company asks for one, we sign an NDA before you send us the file.
The servers hosting the website and the quoting tool are ours and are located at our site in Italy. Uploaded files stay on company storage systems, and the mail server is ours too: service emails do not go through an external provider.
The quoting tool, the part analyses (wall thickness, undercuts, draft, bounding box, nesting) and the 3D viewer are software developed by Marca, running on our servers. We use no third-party quoting platforms, cloud services or online tools to analyse or price your model: the file stays in-house from upload to price.
The connection is always encrypted (HTTPS). On www.marca.it traffic passes through Cloudflare, the service that protects the site from attacks and automated traffic: the connection is encrypted up to Cloudflare and from Cloudflare to our servers, and Cloudflare does not store the file.
An uploaded model is seen by you, in your area, and by our engineers, who use it for the quote and to make the part. It is not visible to other customers, and the file never leaves the Marca Group, not even to suppliers. Everyone who works at Marca is bound to confidentiality by contract.
In production the part travels with a code, not with your company’s name, and the parcel you receive is anonymous.
Your area can only be accessed with your own account: a link we email you, a passkey, or Google, Microsoft or LinkedIn. Passwords are never stored in plain text.
The file stays in your area for as long as you keep it. When you delete it, it is removed from our disks.
Files linked to an order are kept for 10 years, together with the order.
Every night we make an encrypted backup of the whole server to internal storage. A deleted file remains in the backups for about 6 months, then it is gone from there too.
The 3D analysis can be used without registering, and it also runs on our servers. Every model you open in it is kept in a confidential archive for no more than 30 days, together with the date and IP address of the opening: only our engineers see it, for support and to improve the tool. Then it is deleted.
If you would rather decide yourself when to delete it, upload the file to the quoting tool with your account.
